About The Resource Connection
The Resource Connection’s mission is to engage families, empower communities, and enrich the lives of the residents of Amador and Calaveras counties. They operate one of our local food banks distributing emergency food supplies to fight food scarcity among our friends and neighbors here in Calaveras County. They provide an emergency supply of food once every thirty days so that they can avoid skipping meals or avoid cutting back on the amount of food they eat. They also operate the Santas Express program during the holiday season makes holiday meals a reality for families and individuals that may not otherwise have one.
