” EPFW’s Annual meeting and picnic will be held June 1st. Last year’s potluck picnic, held at the Douglas Flat Community Center, was a great success. This year we are happy to be returning to the Vida Buena Farm Barn where EPFW sponsored the last Love the Forest Concert as Covid arrived. The address is: 3286 Vallecito Bypass Road in Vallecito. The picnic will begin at 12:00. If you are able, please bring a dessert, salad, or side dish. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are available. EPFW will be serving burgers (plant based and meat) and provide drinks.
This year we are excited to be joined by Steve Wilensky and the local Indivisible group. Steve will be sharing about the on the ground forest activities that he has been involved with during the picnic. At 2:00 Steve will be presenting on community organizing and outreach during the Indivisible meeting that follows the picnic.
